Q&A

How long have you been in healthcare?
I have been in healthcare 28 years total, 20 of which has been as a nurse practitioner.

What do you like most about practicing in an independent clinic? There is less bureaucracy in a small practice. I am able to really help and connect with patients and get them the care and testing they need without having to wait an extended amount of time.

Where are you originally from? How long have you been in Boise?I was born in Santa Clara, California, but moved to Meridian when I was 6. I have been here ever since!

What do you like about living in Idaho?
It’s home. Boise has a lot to offer yet somehow feels relatively small.

What might we find you doing on the weekends?
I enjoy traveling, snow skiing and playing bridge.

Do you have any community connections or volunteer roles?
I am a ski coach for the Special Olympics of Idaho. I also volunteer for Game Changers Idaho, a non-profit who offers multiple sports opportunities for children with and without disabilities in grades K-12.
