Q&A

How long have you been in healthcare?

I worked as an ICU nurse for 7 years and then became an Advanced Practice Provider. I worked at the Mayo Clinic Arizona for 14 years in Bone Marrow Transplant. Since then, I have worked in internal medicine and cardiology. My doctorate publication was on end stage heart failure; I have always been passionate about cardiology.

What do you like about practicing in an independent clinic?

I like providing personalized healthcare tailored to each patient. We have additional time to spend with each patient to ensure we are delivering patient-centered care. And providing access to quality care without the long waits.
